Dr. Craft has been an educator for over 30 years and joined Boerne ISD in January 2024. Prior to her move to the Hill Country, she served as Associate Superintendent of Academics and Chief Academic Officer for Spring Branch ISD, a role she assumed after spending 20 years serving in District Leadership Roles, including 12 years as a principal, rising from elementary to intermediate and then to high school.

Dr. Craft is the first woman to lead the district, and is proud that Boerne ISD has attained 2 additional A-ratings since she took the helm. The district’s college, career, and military readiness scores have also grown tremendously under her leadership; at 95%, they exceed the state average by 19 points. In 2025, she was recognized by Sam Houston State University as one of their Distinguished Educators of the Year. As a superintendent, she is committed to protecting classrooms and teachers. She established the Budget Strategy and Advisory Committee in late 2024 to help assess the district’s financial future, and made strategic cuts totaling nearly $1.5M at the district’s central office last spring.
